''Eucomis pallidiflora'' (giant pineapple lily) is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae, native to South Africa. It is a bulbous perennial growing to tall, with a basal rosette of strap-shaped leaves, bearing long racemes of greenish-white flowers in late summer. The Latin specific epithet ''pallidiflora'' means "pale flowered". The plant is not frost-hardy, and requires a winter mulch in those areas subject to freezing temperatures.
